I am a Career Ownership Coach and my mission is to help people assess their career possibilities and dreams. I specialize in the exploration of self-sufficiency because there are alternatives to working for someone and creating success for someone else. I want people to be able to make informed choices about their career future based on all the options that they have!
I have been a life long believer in the classic “American dream”; you work hard, put in the hours, stick to the plan and everything will work out. My entire career has been about bringing people and products or services together. Simply put I enjoy being able to provide resources to the clients I work with that will enhance their life for the better. I have occupied every conceivable role from on the street rep to VP. I have been with Fortune 500 corporations as well as mid sized companies and start ups. I have sat behind a desk and I’ve had the opportunity to travel the world. I have run call centers, districts, and national sales programs. Additionally, I have hired, trained and promoted sales people. I have managed large commercial account relationships, designed and implemented CRM systems, and built company processes from the ground up.
As my career progressed, I saw more and more people I knew and respected facing set backs; people hitting plateaus or being let go despite all the effort, time, and hard work they had invested for their employer. I began feeling like an actor in my own career being directed by circumstances and other people. Rather than continuing to chase something, I decided to chart my own course.
What I have always enjoyed is finding the solution to problems. That could be a company with a need or an employee looking to improve their skills and advance. It’s identifying an objective, helping people overcome barriers, and getting to a result – maybe even one better than imagined.
Have you ever thought of where you would like to be and what it would be like to control you own destiny? Maybe? Yes? Unsure? Let’s talk.
I look forward to helping you find the options that are right for you.
